Hi! Welcome to my new blog, and in the very first post I have something cool to say! Okay....first let me say who I am, and then on to the excitingness!!
My name is Lucinda Sowerby, and I am a semi-hyper 13-year-old (age subject to change....you know, what with the passage of time and such...) who loves reading, writing, and using excessive punctuation. Just so ya know. I have a total addiction to spearmint gum (chewing some as I'm writing this!! ^^) and love to sleep and perform Shakespeare plays. I was born in England, but had to move to America when I was 4 because of my dad's job as an electronics engineer. All my family still lives in England, and I visit once a year. Anyway.......
On to the "Awesome Book News"...as I so called it in the title. Okay. One of my favorite books of all time is Wings, by Aprilynne Pike. (Don't you just love that name? It's so awesome...have to stop using that word...) Well...she's written a sequel that isn't published yet, Spells. There's this great site, Late Bloomer, that is giving away not one, but TWO ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) of Spells, as well as an awesome necklace. This is the link to the contest.
